Sermons help us understand God's word
and teach us to love Jesus.

Good sermons and good preaching are a rare thing. A lot of modern preaching is nothing more than pop psychology junk food for the soul, like eating a spiritual Twinkie.
Good preaching is based upon scripture rightly divided, 2 Timothy 2:15, and exalts the Lord Jesus Christ and the truth of the Bible. If your preaching encourages people to stop believing the Bible, you're doing it wrong and you need to examine the motives of your heart.
Good preaching always explains and includes the negative statements of the Bible. If you prefer to ignore negative statements in the Bible, your preaching will not be pleasing to God, will be anemic and will not produce eternal results.
If your car battery had two positive poles, it would not start your engine. For a battery to work, it MUST have both a negative and a positive pole. Teaching the Bible works the same way. If you leave out the negative, your preaching and teaching may sound good, may even draw large crowds but it will not be Spirit filled biblical preaching.
Because there is such a lack of sound Bible teaching and preaching these days, GLBT Christians must learn to feed themselves spiritually. We offer these thoughts, notes and outlines to help you grow strong in the Lord.
We encourage you to make time to read, study and pray daily. Your spiritual growth is your responsibility. Always remember, If it's to be, it's up to me! Consistent time spent in the Bible will change your life for the better. We pray that your spiritual life will be energized as you read, study and grow in grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Sermons serve a useful purpose
Get yourself a good Study Bible and a good one volume Bible Commentary, then read them and accelerate your spiritual growth. Follow along in your Bible when you're listening to preaching and teaching. Make notes in the margins of your study Bible. Write down the outline and main points in a separate notebook. You never know when God will give you opportunity to teach or preach for Him. Sharing what you've learned is a great way to help other Christians grow spiritually and it's a great way to help you grow spiritually.
Knowledge is power. Combined with these lessons and outlines, a good study Bible and time spent reading the written word of God, you will become a stand-out disciple for Jesus! These online studies are FREE for everyone to use as long as you do not copyright or sell them.
