Muscinae or Bryophyta - Mosses

Ernst Haeckel, 1834-1919, was a German naturalist, biologist and artist. After earning two doctors degrees, Haeckel spent the next 47 years as Professor of Comparative Anatomy at the University of Jenna, Germany. Haeckel's bizarre evolutionist and Monist beliefs were precursors of (a) Nazism, (b) the Eugenics movement, (c) Jungian psychology and (d) the religion of modern evolution. God blessed Haeckel with prodigious intellect, incredible artistic talent and extensive education. Haeckel squandered these blessings, living his entire life in rebellion against God and truth.

Sadly, there is no evidence that Haeckel ever trusted Jesus Christ as his Savior and got saved. His rejection of the Jewish Messiah and his beliefs about evolution led to the Nazi Holocaust in which more than six million Jews perished.

The 100 color plates
in his book, Kunstformen der Natur (Artforms of Nature), are works of art. Today all 100 of these pictures are copyright free and in the public domain. Public domain means these photos are FREE for anyone anywhere to use, repurpose and sell as you see fit. Can you brainstorm some way to use these photos on your blog, to make unique tee shirts to sell on Zazzle or CafePress or in your own city? You may use these pictures in any way you choose, to make posters, greeting cards, wallpaper or fine art prints to sell online in your Etsy store or anyplace you choose.

All to Jesus, I surrender,
All to Him I freely give.

It should go without saying (but we'll say it anyway) that we at Gay Christian 101 do not endorse Haeckel's evolutionist views or his other anti-God, anti-Bible views. We also reject the view popularized by Haeckel, that ontogeny recapitulates phylogeny. That is the goofy belief of evolutionists that human embryos retrace their alleged evolutionary ancestry.

Ernst Haeckel stands out as a warning from God. Do not waste the artistic gifts and talents I've given you. Let us be careful not to waste the gifts and talents God freely gives us.
