1. Scott asked: What about the scripture that "man shall not lie with man as with a woman?"

You are referring to Leviticus 18:22 and 20:13. Click the Link for my response.

2. "Let not your men be effeminate." - You are referring to 1 Corinthians 6:9. Click the Link for my response.

3. "Even your women burned in their desire one toward another doing that which is not natural." - You are referring to Romans 1:26. Click the Link for my response.

SODDOM AND GOMARRAH
by: Anonymous

I have a question about the storyof soddam and gomorra or however its spelled but doesnt that story refer to men comng to men not wanting they're daughters but they're fathers and uncles? Even though men would offer them they're daughters at the doorstep.Thats when it was decided that nothing good was left and that city and the people within were destroyed. And anyone that had the chance to get away couldn't look back otherwise they'd be destroyed. that wasn't the only reason but men wanting men rather then woman was considered wicked in the eyes of god! Andi believe that is stated men lying with men. Im not a hater its a persons personal choice thats why theres free will but i don't agree with dishonesty especially coming from a teacher. Because it is definantly stated men lying with men is wicked in the eyes of god. god hates all things wicked in every book in every religion. i don't think he hates the person but he hates the act itself.

Please read the Links in my answers above

Interesting questions but it helps to read the Links to additional information in my answer to the question, What about other scriptures?

Please remember that the context is vitally important when figuring out what the Bible means. For example, the Bible never tells us what you stated, that men in Sodom were going after their fathers and uncles.

Please read what I have written about the Sodom story and also about the Leviticus passages and the Romans 1 passage which reference men with men.
