Come Back
by Rick Brentlinger
(Pace, FL, USA)
Saint-Tropez Marina Sailboats
Slim boats rock gently on the bay
But seem to long for spume and spray;
A wild exhilarating ride
Of billowed sails and arcing glide.
Soft waves lap gently at the bow
Caress a little lighter’s prow;
Enticing, warm, they seem to say,
Come back and sail again some day.
