A Strange Feeling

Ceylon Butterfly

You spit at every word I say,
And I do the same.
You disagree with everything I do,
And I do the same.
If we have one thing in common
it is that we are rival enemies,
Like Hitler to the Jews,
Like the Shark to the Sprat.

So why when you leave
do I feel so guilty?
I have nothing to conceal.
Why am I afraid?
What is this peculiar feeling
that overwhelms my heart?
Why does it rule
and break my feelings?
And how do I get rid
of this strange pain?
OH WHY CAN'T I BE MYSELF AGAIN!

Would you like
to get saved?
