Founder of GC101
My profile - I am a loving and kind-hearted man, artistic, and honest, a guy who laughs easily and the published author of the 390 page nonfiction classic, Gay Christian 101.
I am currently writing a commentary on Romans and also working on books about ancient Sodom and the clobber passages. I am seeking a spiritually minded, authentic and intelligent, out of the closet, gay Christian man, to share my passion for Jesus and my happy, online Bible teaching ministry and the spiritual life, love and adventure serving God provides.
You are a 30ish to 50ish years young man who loves Jesus passionately, enjoys biblical spirituality and a romantic moonlight walk or working on a home improvement project with me or participating in counseling a hurting gay Christian or witnessing to unsaved folks and passing out gospel tracts.
If you desire a spiritually minded gay Christian man, an emotional and spiritual soul mate to love for the rest of your life, perhaps the grace of God is now working to bring us together. If you enjoy reading the Bible aloud and praying aloud with your partner, if you have enough self-discipline to stay physically and spiritually fit, if you are open to the call of God toward Christian ministry, we already have much in common.
Discovering the story behind the story intrigues me. I love getting to know my friends so I can understand their heart for God. The almost sub-conscious details we only discuss with loving friends speak volumes about our personal journey. If you view your life as a spiritual journey, a grand adventure with God, we may be suitable soul mates and my profile may be the catalyst to finally bring us together.
I received the Lord Jesus Christ as my personal Savior when I was eight years old. My soul-winning mother led me to trust Christ. I grew up in independent fundamental Baptist churches. I love Jesus passionately and am a Bible-believing, soul-winning, tract passing, disciple making witness for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
It helps to be on the same page
Just so you know, theologically, I am not a Calvinist or charismatic or Pentecostal, nor am I a progressive Christian, nor am I emergent church or new age in my Christianity.
Biblical spirituality, a personal prayer life that gets answers from my loving Lord, consistently active evangelism, joyful service to God, a worldwide Bible teaching ministry via my website and developing deep personal friendships, discerning and marveling at God’s work in my life and the lives of my friends - these form the fabric of my inner life and my spiritual life.
Do you love the idea of the two of us sharing our lives as we serve Jesus?
By choice, I am not part of the madding crowd (with apologies to Thomas Hardy). I delight in being a participant instead of a spectator. I am more leader than follower yet I work well with people. I march to the beat of a different drum. Listen closely and in the distance, you may faintly hear the breeze-born note.
Tuna salad sandwiches on Ezekiel bread, organic juice and a Lara bar for dessert beside a babbling brook are more satisfying to me than lunch in a chain restaurant yet enjoying lunch anywhere with you will always be a special treat.
Interacting with my partner in a thousand different ways, spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, sensually, physically, brings incredible joy. Do you agree that a passionate and faithful marriage partnership modeling mutual attraction, biblical spirituality and romantic love adds sweetness and zest to life?
My friends include serious committed Christians, eclectic rebels, twenty-something students, grandmothers and grandfathers, genXers and millenials, who are focused on authentic Christianity instead of a life devoid of biblical spirituality. Does this resonate with the attitudes of your heart and soul?
Instead of a desperate scramble to financially enrich myself, much of my life has been invested in the lives of others. A life lived for the glory of God with eternity in mind, rich in experience and shared grace, with many souls won to saving faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and many spiritual children and grandchildren is of far greater value than a bulging bank account and a withered soul.
Incurably optimistic, I persist in believing that somewhere, out there, your heart, o love of my life, is stirring to find me. You are prepared by God for me as He has prepared me for you. Would you enjoy loving each other and loving and serving God together?
One Incredible Man
I seek one incredible, gay Christian man to partner with me in life, love and ministry for Jesus. You are a unique work of our loving God, gazing heavenward, eyes fixed upon the same star I see, heart passionately longing for me as I long for you, while slowly inexorably, our loving Lord orders circumstances to bring us together. Have you been praying for me as I have for you? Perhaps for the first time, as you read my profile, our hearts began to beat as one.
If my profile resonates in your heart, creates a longing in your soul, encourages you to sing harmony with my melody, impels you to prayerfully contact me, I have no way of knowing that, so the next move is yours, if you have the courage.

Arsenokoites is rarely, if ever, used in antiquity, to describe homosexuality. The Greek language had other words for that.
