About Us - Who We Are

GayChristian101.com is a fellowship of Bible believing gay and lesbian Christians who desire to affirm and obey the Scriptures while acknowledging our God-given sexual orientation, Matthew 19:12. About us.

The desire of our hearts is minister to the spiritual needs of the Gay and Lesbian Community by encouraging everyone to personally trust Jesus Christ as Savior, by cultivating spiritual growth and by developing a Biblically based walk with our Lord.

1. We believe it is the personal responsibility of all who are saved to conform their lives to the truth of scripture. Such a life honors God and authenticates the truth of the Gospel to those who need Jesus Christ.

2. We honor the intrinsic dignity, potential and value of every individual because of the incredible value God placed on us when He shed His blood to make redemption available to all who believe on Jesus Christ, in this life. About us.

3. We encourage gay men and lesbians to receive the gift of God, which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, Romans 6:23.

4. Our purpose is to promote Biblical spirituality in gay men and lesbians, I Peter 2:2, II Peter 3:18.

5. We recognize the importance of living authentic Christian lives, that others may see Christ in us and take knowledge of us, that we have been with Jesus, Acts 4:13.

6. We understand that more mature Christians carry the spiritual responsibility of teaching younger Christians, guiding their spiritual growth as they prepare to serve Christ in the world.

7. We encourage nongay Christians to explore this website with an open mind and a prayerful heart. We believe it is not only possible but desirable for nongay and gay Christians to be united in our common purpose of serving God according to Biblical principles. About us.

8. We believe the Scriptures are clear, that it is not a sin to be gay or lesbian.

   Further, we believe Jesus carefully articulated His belief that gay people are not gay because they made a personal choice to be gay.

   According to Jesus in Matthew 19:12, there are three classes of people who do not fit the heterosexual, Adam and Eve marriage paradigm.

   Jesus carefully distinguishes the first class of people who do not fit the Adam and Eve marriage paradigm, from those who made a conscious choice to forego heterosexual marriage, Matthew 19:12.

   The first class of people Jesus mentions are people who were born that way. If they were born that way, their condition is not the result of personal choice.

9. We believe that eunuchs, in history, were frequently gay men and lesbians. We further believe that eunuchs in the Bible, were frequently gay men.

1. Our Lord Jesus Christ. “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind... Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.” Matthew 22:36-39.

   “By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one for another.” John 13:35.

2. The Apostle Paul. “Owe no man anything, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law... Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore, love is the fulfilling of the law.” Romans 13:8-11.
