Is it a Leopard or a Jaguar?

Beastiality is defined as a human being having sex with an animal. Like all normal human beings, I am absolutely against beastiality. Some mean-spirited christians, intellectual dullards for sure, compare homosexuality to beastiality. They assert (falsely) that committed gay or lesbian partnerships are the same as having sex with animals.

Of course, that is an illogical argument whose only purpose is to vilify gays and lesbians.

Five important reasons why
Beastiality is always wrong

1. It is sex with a species too different and of different flesh.
   
   

   "All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds." 1 Corinthians 15:39

   
   
2. It was implicitly forbidden in Genesis 2:18-20, where scripture points out that NONE of the animals is a fitting partner for Adam, the first human being, 1 Corinthians 15:45.
   
   

   "And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
   
   And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet (fitting) for him." Genesis 2:19-20

   
   
3. Animals are incapable of giving informed consent to sex with humans.
   
   

   "Informed consent is a legal condition whereby a person can be said to have given consent based upon a clear appreciation and understanding of the facts, implications and future consequences of an action.
   
   In order to give informed consent, the individual concerned must have adequate reasoning faculties and be in possession of all relevant facts at the time consent is given.
   
   This logically excludes animals from the ability to give informed consent."

   
   
4. No reasonable person views beastiality as an innate condition, like heterosexuality or homosexuality.
   
   
5. Human exceptionalism teaches us that animals are never orientation compatible partners for humans by virtue of the fact that they are animals and not human whereas
   
   human beings are separate from, different than and elevated above the animals, without being evolved from the animals. According to the Bible, as human beings we are far more than just another animal in the forest. We are a special creation of God.
