Whatever you do, never take the mark of the beast. Your best pro-active solution to avoid taking the mark is to get saved today. Satan is an expert counterfeiter who deceives Christians by imitating God. For example, Satan offers many kinds of counterfeit spirituality by encouraging unbiblical meditation practices. Beyond those things, 2 Cor 11:4-15 - please look it up - tells us we need to watch out for:

a. another Jesus who is NOT the real Jesus
b. another spirit which is NOT from God
c. another gospel which is NOT God's truth

2 Cor 11:13 tells us there are false apostles who transform themselves into the apostles of Christ.

2 Cor 11:15 tells us that Satan himself, the prince of darkness, is transformed into an angel of light.

"And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as the feet of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads:

1. Jesus Christ has a city which is a bride, Revelation 21:2, and Satan has a city which is a bride - Rev 17:5, 18.
   
   
2. Jesus Christ is the light of the world, John 8:12, 9:5 and Satan is called an angel of light, 2 Cor 11:14.
   
   
3. Jesus Christ is KING OF KINGS (KJV caps), Rev 19:16 and Satan is a king over all the children of pride, Job 41:34.
   
   
4. Jesus Christ is Prince of Peace, Isa 9:6 and Satan is the prince of this world, John 14:30 and prince of the power of the air, KJV, Ephesians 2:2.
   
   
5. Jesus Christ is my Lord and my God, John 20:28 and Satan is the god of this world, 2 Cor 4:4.
   
   
6. Jesus Christ quotes scripture to Satan, Luke 4:4, 8, 12 and Satan quotes scripture back at him, Luke 4:10.
   
   
7. Jesus Christ is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, Rev 5:5 and Satan is like a roaring lion, 1 Pet 5:8.
   
   
8. Jesus Christ is God, John 1:1-2, 10:36, 1 Tim 3:16, Hebrews 1:8, so Satan claims to be God, 2 Thessalonians 2:4.
   
   
9. Jesus Christ performed signs, wonders and miracles, Matthew 9:32-33, Mark 6:2, John 2:1-11, 4:46-54, Luke 4:333-37, 5:3-10, so Satan performs lying signs and wonders, Matthew 24:24; 2 Thessalonians 2:9.
   
   
10. Jesus Christ has 144,000 Jewish witnesses who during the tribulation are sealed in their forehead, Revelation 7:4; 14:1, so Satan has followers who are sealed in their forehead or in their right hand, Revelation 13:16-18, thus the mark of the beast, whatever form it takes, is a Satanic counterfeit.
    
    
11. Jesus Christ is crowned with many crowns, Revelation 19:12, so Satan's representative receives ten crowns, Revelation 13:1.
    
    
12. Jesus Christ is God's Lamb slain by crucifixion, Revelation 5:6; 13:8, Psalm 22:13-24, Isaiah 53, John 19:1ff, 1 Cor 5:7, so Satan's representative, antichrist, dies from a deadly wound, Revelation 13:3.
    
    
13. Jesus Christ rose from the dead, Matthew 28:6, and antichrist is healed of his deadly wound, Revelation 13:3, in a copycat resurrection.
