The Road I Take

Snake Mountain Road

The road I take may lonesome seem,
The rest stops far apart;
Yet every trial that comes to me
Must pass my Savior’s heart.

He screens each test and lights the path
Each step that I must tread;
And though the way seems dark to me
He knows what lies ahead.
