What We Believe

If you were GOD would you bless the life you're living in all you say and do according to GOD'S law?

Rick Brentlinger Answers

You've asked an important question which causes every serious Christian to examine himself.

Blessing is based on grace,
not keeping the law

It is important to remember that God blesses Christians based on His amazing grace and their sonship - their position as children of God through faith in Christ Jesus - rather than based on their ability to keep the law.
"For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth." Romans 10:4

"...for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily, righteousness should have been by the law.

But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe."
(not to them that work at keeping the law). Galatians 3:21-22

Blessing comes to us
only because
we are in Christ

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:" Ephesians 1:3

Repentance precedes salvation

God commands all men everywhere to repent, Acts 17:30

Once I've repented and believed the gospel, I'm saved and born again through receiving the gift of God which is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, Romans 5:17, 6:23, nothing can remove me from the love of God and as a child of God, I enjoy my Father's blessings.

In plainer words, once God has made His judicial declaration that I am justified by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, Romans 3:25, I am safe and secure in Jesus.
