If you could go back to Biblical times, where would you go and why?

I would go back to the time of Jonathan and David, around 1000 BC. I have always been fascinated by Israel as she transitioned from having judges to having Kings.

How fascinating it would be to walk and talk with the prophet Samuel and Crown Prince Jonathan and his partner David, the awesome, musically talented shepherd boy God chose to be King.

Jonathan and David
by: Anonymous

we were reading in I Sam. last night in devotions the account of Saul/Jonathan his son and David.
Scripture says that David and Jonathan loved each other. True, David was married to Saul's daughter but he didn't seem to care and it was probably an arranged marriage by Saul...common in those days.
Was there a possibility of a gay relationship between Jonathan and David?
I think I would go back to the time that the love of Christ was the main issue; that we should love one another as we love ourselves. There are so many debatable issues in Scripture (and I was brought up to believe the scriptures to be infallable)....I have been a true "born again" Christian for 65+ years...and have been gay all my life...but even married, had three wonderful children, divorced after many years of marriage and am now living with my partner.
